North Korea showcases missile capable of reaching US ahead of possible Trump meeting
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has showcased the Hwasong-20, an intercontinental ballistic missile capable of reaching the US, this according to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), a state-run news agency. Reported this October 13, the display reportedly happened at a newly opened defense museum, and soon after US President Donald Trump signaled that he could meet Kim during a planned trip to Asia in November. Analysts say the exhibition may be intended to strengthen Pyongyang’s position ahead of potential talks, while highlighting Kim’s military achievements.
